The Anu Necklace
At the heart of the collection is the stunning sapphire necklace embellished with diamonds, pulled straight from the imagination of Lead Designer Sarah Alexander. Sarah recalls that the moment she saw the main gemstone, she knew it would inspire an entire collection. The Celtic influence shines through with the spiked sides resembling the thorns of a thistle. 2.53ct Sapphire, 1.64ct Diamond. Platinum.
The Anu Ring
The Anu ring is a masterpiece inspired by the enchanting world of forests. Its design intricately weaves together the essence of nature. Crafted with a repeating platinum branch frame, this ring mirrors the organic birth of a flourishing forest. Within this unique piece, a mesmerising array of round, pear and marquise sapphires come together, evoking the vibrant and living spirit of botanical life. These sapphires are skillfully concealed throughout the band, creating an alluring illusion of gem-laden branches that peek out intermittently. The Anu ring is a treasured statement piece offering a delightful interplay of light and colour for its custodian. 3.10ct Sapphire, 3.15ct Diamond. Platinum.
The Anu Earrings
The Anu collection's enchanting allure of the forest finds its exquisite expression in Sarah's contemporary platinum drop earrings. Designed with pave set diamonds, the graceful, curving lines of the platinum gently intertwine and ascend the earlobe, like vines reaching skyward, capturing the essence of natures organic beauty. The outer edge showcases marquise and round brilliant cut diamonds that burst into a magnificent display, reminiscent of eager blooming flowers. 8.52ct Sapphire, 2.40ct Diamond. Platinum.
"The opportunity to work with such wonderful gemstones was inspiring. I had made it my personal quest to find the perfect blue sapphire, and believed it was central to my Anu pendant. I looked at so many stones before I found 'the one' and when I did, the whole design really came into focus".
"With the adjustments and methods finalised, the Goldsmiths will begin to manufacture the piece. The methods used will differ depending on the piece. Some pieces are entirely handmade, starting as a metal sheet and wire, crafted and formed using age-old knowledge into jewellery".
